It was such a relief when I finally learned that. I handed over my power to too much family. They still can rile me up some but it’s nothing like when I used to try to make myself happy, my family happy and maintain an eating disorder. This article may interest people who are college age or late teens and heading home for the holidays. It talks about the family dynamic and its importance to someone with an eating disorder.
